ABOUT
Travis Reed Schieber brings twelve years of coaching experience to the families he works with. The creation of TRSLacrosse represents a renewed vision for both his coaching philosophy and his way of life. After building a highly respected private training company, Pursuit of Perfection Lacrosse Inc. (POP Lacrosse), in Central Florida, he believes he has fulfilled his original objective of making a meaningful impact on the sport in his hometown.
A desire for new opportunities has since led him to Crested Butte, Colorado, where he currently coaches with the West Elk Lacrosse Association. Travis continues to split his time between Florida and Colorado, working closely with student-athletes whom he's had relationships with upwards to a decade.

MISSION STATEMENT
"To develop people through sport teaching qualities of life to use for life."
LACROSSE
Travis Schieber, a Winter Park, Florida native, grew up playing both hockey and lacrosse. He was a four-year letterman at Winter Park High School, excelling as a long-stick midfielder (LSM) and contributing as a key member of the man-up unit. Though recruited to play lacrosse at the collegiate level, Travis chose not to play beyond high school. In 2015, Travis began his coaching career as a volunteer with a local recreational team in his hometown. His leadership and passion for player development quickly led to his appointment as director of the program. During this time, he began mentoring players individually and in small group sessions, steadily building a committed student base. In June 2020, Travis founded his first company Pursuit of Perfection Lacrosse Inc., officially transitioning to full-time operations in October of that year. Through that company, he helped athletes across Florida refine their skills, knowledge, and deepen their love for the game. In spring 2021, Travis accepted the Head Coach position for the boys varsity lacrosse team at East Ridge High School. Under his leadership, the team achieved a 13–4 season—the best in program history—earning its first-ever playoff appearance and victory, a record that still stands as of 2026. In fall of 2024, Travis began volunteering with the Rollins College Women’s Lacrosse Program and coached with the team during the 2025 spring season. He remains dedicated to mentoring and developing players across the state of Florida and in Crested Butte, Colorado through private instruction and team coaching through his second company TRSLacrosse.

PERSONAL
